Future-proof cable
%n%Now you can get HDMI cables in the latest casting: HDMI 1.4. The new standard incorporates the old one so that you can easily change to HDMI 1.4 cables – they fit both new and old equipment.
With the new cables you can get a much better picture thanks to a higher resolution (4K), more colours (48 Bit) and 3D support. But naturally this is only the case if your other equipment, e.g. receiver and flat-screen TV, also supports the standard.
HDMI 1.4 also helps to limit the number of cables that need to be connected to your flat-screen TV. This is a real advantage if your flat-screen TV is wall-mounted. Some of the new features of HDMI 1.4: Internet in the same cable and routing the sound from the TV's return in the cable to an amplifier or similar device.
