Get digital TV on your computer

Insert a tiny adapter into your computer's USB port to start watching digital TV in crystal-clear quality on your computer right away. You also get the option to combine your TV viewing with a number of computer functions that you would otherwise only get with a media centre computer. Examples include the ability to pause live TV for a tea break, capture still TV images, perform timed recordings or watch timeshifted programmes, e.g. with a ten-minute delay. You can use Sandberg USB DigiTV to watch digital TV on your computer anywhere there is a digital TV signal. This means your system is future-proof, because the TV transmission network is changing over to digital TV for better picture quality than the old analogue standard. You could use a laptop together with the USB DigiTV to give yourself complete freedom from wires, as you would be able to watch digital TV wherever there is coverage. If you need a short break from work, you could use your laptop as a TV, and when you visit your summer house or go on holiday you can take digital TV with you. Put simply, it is "TV to go".

The software provided comprises many extra functions such as:

• Electronic Program Guide (EPG), displaying an overview of the programmes on the various channels.
• Timeshifting of TV programmes, allowing you to pause the TV reception. You can press the timeshifting button in the middle of a programme. The programme will be paused and the rest of the broadcast will be recorded. So you won't miss anything even if you need to be away from the TV for a little while.
• Record function enables you to record and schedule recording of your favourite programmes. You can also create a list of the available channels in the area you are in. A summer house in one region typically has other channels available than an apartment in another region. This means you don't have to scan the channels every time you visit your summer house or vice-versa.
• Support for subtitles for all subtitled programmes.
• Teletext, which opens in a separate window and works in the same way as on a normal TV.
• Still pictures – grab and save a screenshot from a TV programme.

It comes with a remote control and a detailed manual in English. The pack also contains an adapter to connect the USB DigiTV to your standard aerial connector at home.
