Pocket keyboard for smartphones

What good is it really for a mobile phone to have e-mail and Internet functions, not to mention text messaging, when you spend absolutely ages typing fairly short texts with the letter combinations of the number buttons?

How annoying is it if you didn’t quite manage to read through your text messages before sending them and only realise too late that the phone’s predictive text has changed words to give a completely different meaning? Who hasn’t seen the entertaining threads on online forums about people who really put their foot in it with their text messages just because there isn’t a proper keyboard on their stylish mobile devices?

“Your mum and I are going to divorce” – should have been “Your mum and I are going to Disney”.
“I’ll give you HIV” – should have been “I’ll give you hug”.

These problems should now be a thing of the past. Sandberg has launched a pocket keyboard that is tailored to text messages. It comes in a very handy size which can easily be placed in your pocket with the mobile phone itself. It connects to the phone via Bluetooth so you won’t have to worry about cables. Only when you have to charge the keyboard.

The keyboard can also be used for e.g. PlayStation 3 and Windows computers. So this nifty little keyboard can be put on the coffee table next to other remote controls. It presents many more options for use when you add a keyboard to a PlayStation 3, or if you want to sit back on the sofa and use the laptop connected to the large screen TV in the living room.

Sandberg has gone to great lengths to combine a truly compact size with great functionality. There are other pocket keyboards on the market with a cheaper typing principle. However Sandberg’s new pocket keyboard ensures that each key has the correct load put on it; what’s more each key is curved so that it is easy to hit it right each time. Even when typing fast. In addition you get a five-year warranty on the keyboard.

You hold Sandberg’s pocket keyboard between your hands and type with your thumbs. Another option is to put the keyboard in one hand and type with all the fingers of the other hand. With practice you can learn to be ultra fast at both methods.

The keyboard is on its way to the shops and you can find your nearest dealer at www.sandberg.world.
