Everyone is acquiring more and more mobile devices that require charging, typically every single day. Chargers are starting to occupy every other socket, or are lined up in bulky and ugly 4-way extension leads.
Sandberg is now launching the Magnetic Charging Station 4in1, which is an elegant muti charger for as many as four devices. It comes with its own power supply and is positioned on your desk with a cable.
Then connecting the other devices is a piece of cake. Micro USB and iPhone/iPod cables are supplied. Connect the cable to your mobile, for example. The other end is magnetic and all you need to do is place it on top of the charging plate and charging will commence.
Martin Hollerup, Managing Director of Sandberg A/S, has this to say about the new device: “The fact that it’s an elegant solution is one thing. But this product also supports my personal environmental ethos. I think most of us leave our chargers in mains power sockets even when we’re not charging anything at all. In this situation, they actually use a small amount of standby power. Just as with everything else, there is less impact on the environment by having only one charger using standby power instead of four.”
The product is covered by a five-year warranty. It is supplied with two iPhone/iPod cables and two cables for other devices (Micro USB). Additional cables of each type can be bought if, for instance, you need to charge four iPhones with the new magnetic charging station.
