Sandberg has launched something as simple and ingenious as a powerful LED torch combined with a generous rechargeable battery and a portable mobile charger.

50 grams of modern technology – you won’t need any more. This provides plenty of light and power for your portable devices. Digital cameras, MP3 players, smartphones and GPS devices can take advantage of the extra power, as the base of the torch houses a USB port. 

Anders Petersen, Product Manager at Sandberg A/S, says of the new combined product: “It’s actually a completely logical combination. Strange that nobody has thought of it before. You only need to have done a moderate amount of outdoor activities to have experienced failing light and your digital camera, for example, suddenly running out of power. Or you’ve carried around all manner of things to make sure you have all bases covered. Now all you need to take with you is the torch and you needn’t be afraid of being caught short in the middle of a forest with a dead mobile.”

Sandberg 2in1 PowerLight looks just like a normal torch. But upon closer examination of the torch body, a couple of ports become apparent: A small USB port for charging the torch and a larger USB port of the same type as you find in computers and in most chargers supplied with mobiles, for example.
