“It’s actually because I’m always on the move and would really like to limit the number of things I carry around with me as much as possible,” says Anders Petersen, Product Manager at Sandberg A/S, as he explains why he began developing the new Sandberg Pocket Card Reader. “There’s no harm in thinking practically.”
To that extent, the Sandberg Pocket Card Reader is a practical and clever acquaintance. It has inputs for a wealth of different types of memory card. And there’s a port for all of them. Even the impossibly small M2 cards will fit without an adapter.
The USB cable itself, which is used to connect the card reader to the computer, is fairly short and can be folded into a space underneath the product, so that you only have one handy unit in your pocket. No loose adapters, no loose cables. All built into one handy unit. You just unfold the short cable, insert it into the computer, and you’re away.
The Product Manager continues: “But of course the product performs excellently; a smart design is not enough. The speed is fantastic, the compatibility is impressive, the housing is stable and there are no drivers whatsoever. And, in all modesty, I think we’ve have hit the nail on the head with the price point of this product.”
To underline the high quality, Sandberg are offering a five-year warranty on the card reader, which is already on its way to the stores.
