Square sound on your desktop
%n%The new compact speakers from Sandberg have simply been named after their shape. They are really very square, so we have called them CUBEs – or more precisely the Sandberg USB Cube Speaker Set 2.0.
Choose a pair of CUBEs if you want the sound on your laptop to be a bit better. The built-in speakers in laptops don't generally provide particularly good sound. On the other hand, it’s not so great having a pair of huge wooden boxes on your desk when you’re sitting right in front of it.
CUBEs are active speakers with a built-in amplifier, but there is no need for a power socket. The amplifier quite cleverly takes its power via the USB connector in the computer so you can even have good sound when you're on the move. Despite its compact size, there is still room for both a volume control and a headphone socket.
