When Jack was late

Jack Hansson makes customer visits all day long. His car is his workplace. This sunny day in April was no exception. Life was beautiful! Isabella was at home – she was about to give birth to their first child. Jack was looking forward to it and was always prepared to rush home or maybe directly to the hospital when she called. On this particular day he had his brand new mobile phone with him. As he was trying out some of the new functions on his phone during his lunch break, the battery suddenly ran out of power. He hadn't bought a phone charger yet, and naturally there isn't a power socket in the car. That would have been fine because his laptop also tends to run out by the end of the day. Now Jack had to hope that today wouldn't be the day that Isabella would go into labour. But it was! When Jack came home Isabella wasn't in and there was a note in large letters on the kitchen table ordering him to get to the hospital as soon as he can. If he dared to.

The individuals and this story are fictitious. But this sort of thing happens all the time. Imagine if only Jack had had a power socket in the car! He can easily get one now. He just needs to get hold of a Sandberg PowerCan.

The Sandberg PowerCan fits into the cup holder in the car and is powered by the cigarette lighter. At the top it is an ordinary 230 V socket which works just like as a mains socket in the home. You really can solve a lot of problems by having a power source with you when you are on the move.

The PowerCan is even equipped with a USB power output to which you can connect e.g. your mobile phone or digital camera for direct charging without having to bring the power supply. The PowerCan is equipped with an automatic cut-out which protects the car's 12 V output against a power overload.
