There is no doubt that Apple iPad is a stroke of genius. This fact is underlined by the rapidly growing sales' figures. Nevertheless it can be difficult to type correctly and efficiently on the virtual keys that appear on the screen. Sandberg wants to change this with a new keyboard.

The portable keyboard is slightly smaller than iPad and therefore easy to carry around. The keyboard connects wirelessly so you can position the iPad as you want. There is also a holder on the new Sandberg Mini Bluetooth Keyboard suitable for iPad 1 and iPad 2. With an iPad in the holder you have a real keyboard and use the iPad as a screen, just like a laptop.

This very handy keyboard can be connected to everything from laptops and tablet computers to small smartphones and industrial machinery with Bluetooth for that matter. It has nevertheless been specially designed for Apple's iPhone and iPad so you may need to download a driver and some of the keys may not work on other machines.

The tablet holder can be removed as required. The keyboard has rechargeable batteries so the environmental impact is as little as possible.

Martin Hollerup, Managing Director at Sandberg A/S, has this to say about the more than standard compact keyboard. "This keyboard is the first product in a wave of new innovative products for iPad and iPhone. We have decided to increase the usability of new mobile devices without compromising flexibility and mobility. All this is combined with Sandberg's high level of quality which, among other things, gives the user a five-year warranty on everything and designs that match everybody's taste."
