A new and really fast standard for wireless networks has arrived: Up to three times faster than normal cabled networks. The range is now up to 500 m in open terrain or a couple of hundred metres indoors. The technical name behind the standard is 802.11n – at Sandberg we call this N300.
The new standard is backwards compatible with earlier wireless standards. In other words, you don't need to replace all your equipment at the same time. Every single connection will then run on the highest common denominator. If e.g. 54 Mbit/s is put together with 300 Mbit/s, the connection will run at 54 Mbit/s.
Sandberg is ready with a range of products for the new standard. By buying network products from Sandberg, you'll get items that are guaranteed to work and be easy to use. The user guides are written in plain English and if you still have problems getting your product to work, we have a free hotline that you can ring for advice. We call this: "Purple Care".
