Sandberg has introduced a numeric keypad to the market that is much better in many areas. A numeric keypad is a gift for any laptop user, even those that write numbers every once in a while. And who doesn't? Working with laptops becomes more effective when you can reach all the numbers with one hand.
Left-handed users have the option of putting the numbers on the left-hand side of the keyboard. All full keyboards on the market favour right-handed users, so a separate keypad is a good solution to speed up the time it takes to enter numbers – even for left-handed users.
We've focused on a simple, elegant and timeless design that you can slip into any laptop bag. The numpad is wireless and the USB receiver so tiny that you can forget all about it once it has been plugged into the computer.
To make it easier to use, the pad is paired with the receiver at the factory. The numeric keypad can also be used without any drivers. All you have to do to get started is put the supplied batteries in the numpad and plug the receiver into the computer. And you can then use it straight away.
Product Manager Anders Partida Petersen has this to say about the new product: "There is actually nothing revolutionary about a numpad. The world has seen thousands of them before. The concept can't really be changed, because a numpad is just a numpad. This is why we have decided to introduce a product that is just that little bit better in all areas. The sort of thing which means you have a nice feeling about the keyboard when you pull it out of your bag instead of just regarding it as a boring old numeric keypad."
