"It was so annoying to go to a sales meeting with a customer with a great presentation on the laptop, and then just could not connect it to their projector."

This is how Sandberg Sales Director Erling Hoff Petersen recounts how the story of VGA / HDMI adapters started. A small series of three adapters, which make it possible to connect VGA and HDMI devices with each other.

He continues: "We realised that many people may need to connect HDMI and VGA together: when you want to have your computer screen up on the flat screen TV, if you buy a new monitor or a new computer and need them to fit your existing devices etc."

Sandberg's adapters convert digital HDMI signal into analogue VGA and analogue audio - or vice versa. They function without driver installation. You just plug the cable from your display or projector into the adapter and then into your computer. Then off you go.

The Sales Director concludes: "Of course I recommend that all businesses have suitable adapters in their meeting and conference rooms, so they are ready for guests regardless of which connector is on the visitors' computers. I have since decided always to keep an adapter in my bag - so there is never a problem."

The adapters are already available in stores and online.
