Sandberg’s new range of retractable cables, gives new meaning to the expression “pulling the plug”.
For example, take a car journey where the passengers in the front and back seats take it in turns to connect their mobiles to the AUX port on the car stereo to play MP3 music. Previously you would have had to choose between a short cable for the passenger in the front seat and a long, unmanageable cable that could reach those passengers sitting in the back. With Sandberg’s new retractable cable, all you need to do is extend the length of the cable as far as you need.
Or the representative who wants to carry a network cable on the go. She no longer needs to carry a standard cable which needs to be disentangled at the start of a meeting and then coiled up at the end. Instead all she needs to do is pull out the Sandberg Retractable network cable as far as she needs.
We imagine everyone can see the benefits in a charger for various mobiles that can easily be retracted after use and pulled out when needed. Having to wind the cable around three fingers and then trying to secure the coil with a couple of elastic bands will be a thing of the past. Pulling and letting go – it’s much easier.
There are countless user situations that are made easier thanks to the new retractable cables from Sandberg. See the list of possibilities in the column to the right.
The functionality is relatively simple. You pull the cable out to the desired length. After use you pull the cable out all the way which activates the retracting mechanism. Completely automatic.
