USB 3.0 – incredibly fast!
Now you can have USB 3.0 on your computer.
If you have a desktop computer, you can now expand it with authentic USB 3.0 ports. All your computer needs is a free PCI-E port.
Installing the card is easier than you would think. We have written a user guide that carefully takes you through the installation process, and Sandberg Helpdesk is also ready to help you.
Once the card is inserted in the computer, you will be able to connect USB 3.0 devices. The two new ports can also be used for older USB devices, which will run at normal speed.
You will see the greatest benefit if you connect a USB 3.0 device, such as the Sandberg USB 3.0 Hard Disk Box. At its fastest, USB 3.0 can transfer data at a staggering 5 Gbit/s. That's 10 times faster than USB 2.0 and 400 times faster than USB 1.1. In fact, this is fast enough to transmit 200 video channels live simultaneously – using the future HDTV standard, that is!
Remember that you can only achieve USB 3.0 speed if you use authentic USB 3.0 cables.
