Apart from the user guide and warranty card, all the box contains is the keyboard itself, the mouse and a tiny receiver for the USB port. No cables. No driver CD. Can it really be that simple?
The simple answer: Yes, of course it can! Insert the batteries into the mouse and keyboard and the small receiver into the computer. That's it. The mouse, keyboard and receiver are paired at the factory, so there are no complex settings.
In addition to all the usual functions, the stylish keyboard has a number of multimedia hotkeys on each side. These can be used to open your browser or your e-mail software with just one click. The keyboard is also equipped with a battery indicator that warns you well in advance before you run out of power.
The optical precision mouse is ergonomically designed and as well as a comfortable feel, it has a couple of interesting extra functions. On the side of the mouse there are forward and back buttons that can be used when surfing the Internet. Press the scroll button to activate the scroll for the whole mouse and there is also a separate DPI button next to the scroll button.
The DPI button toggles between a very high resolution and a lower resolution. The high resolution is ideal for precision work, while the lower resolution enables you to move faster around the screen.
Both the keyboard and the mouse have a comfortable rubber surface, which makes them easy to work with for long periods at a time.
